Pimp ride from the airport... ski porn at no extra charge!
Did we bring enough stuff?
A look at Roger's Pass from the heli pad
Here's our ride... watch your head and hold on to your stuff!
Some amazing terrain we saw on the flight in to the Sorcerer Lodge. So much terrain and so little time... I think I need to buy my own helicopter.

Safe landing at the lodge - our home for the next week. Sure, the amenities are nice. But, could we get one with a better view!?!?

Hmmm.... standing at the fott of a glacier at noon, it's sunny, and the safety drill has been completed. What should we do? Skiing, anyone? Matt Anderson is cruising up toward 'Black Russian Col'.

One of many nameless icefalls on the route.

As we get higher on the Nordic Glacier, the 'hidden' side of Escargot rock comes into view and we spy the 'Wedding Bells' run. I'm also starting to realize how big this place really is.

Susie Sutphin is always happy to be in the mountains.

Jessica moving right along.

This is from the top of the Western Nordic Peak, right before we dropped off the northeast face for our first run of the trip. The slidepath in the background is almost 3,000 vertical feet!

The South Face of Mount Iconoclast. Scary monster.
Tim and Jess look psyched.

Easy turns in sunny, settled powder off the Nordic Peak.

John (aka Johan) making turns.

Lower down, we skiied a steep (40 degree?) slope over a buried icefall called 'Broadway'. Tricky, deep powder offered fun and challenging turns. Here's Walker (aka, 'Movie Star') making it look easy.

Later at the hut, clouds start to roll in. This is Escargot Rock, which you can probably recognize by it's name. Matt is getting ready to bust a couple turns on 'Extra Credit', which is a tiny shot right out the backdoor of the lodge.

Isaac was our chef for the week - great job keeping us well-fed, fuelds up, and ready to go.

Here's the whole crew counter clockwise from 7 o'clock: Sam, Tim, Isaac, Dave, Johan, Jess, Susie, Matt, Jorg, and Jason.

A wig is always a good idea... especially when it's a BIG!
